The 2026/2027 academic year at the Doctoral School of Education of the University of Szeged began with an opening ceremony on 8 September 2026.
The opening ceremony was held in the Csapó Benő Room and was attended by both first year and senior doctoral students of the Doctoral School. During the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Gyöngyvér Molnár, Head of the Doctoral School of Education, presented the main milestones in the history of the Doctoral School and gave an overview of the key events and achievements of the previous academic year, as well as the publication output of the Doctoral School. She also informed students about the available scholarship opportunities.
Following the opening ceremony, first year doctoral students attended orientation sessions introducing the key aspects of the doctoral programme and the main tasks of the semester. The Hungarian language orientation was held by Dr. László Kinyó and Dr. Edit Tóth, while the English language session for international students was led by Dr. Katalin Edit Molnár.
